Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) Conference Series

With the ever-growing demand for access to the electromagnetic spectrum, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) has become one of the major challenges for scientific uses of radio frequencies. The RFI Conference Series provides a unique forum for scientists, engineers, spectrum managers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for RFI detection, mitigation, and spectrum sharing.

Since its inception in Bonn in 2001, the RFI workshops have promoted collaboration across the passive and active scientific communities, regulatory bodies, and commercial spectrum users. These conferences explore real-world interference cases, advances in technology, and evolving policy frameworks aimed at preserving radio science.
